The 2026 Swift Escape 694 is a fantastic motorhome for couples or families looking for space, comfort and the freedom to enjoy longer touring adventures. With its impressive interior, practical layout and much-loved island bed, it offers many of the features you would normally expect from a much larger motorhome, while retaining Swift's reputation for thoughtful design and easy touring.

The Escape has received a fresh new look for 2026, with updated exterior graphics and a stylish new interior scheme. The result is a motorhome that feels modern and welcoming from the moment you step inside, while retaining all the practical features that have made the Escape such a popular choice.

Powered by the 2.2-litre 140bhp Fiat Ducato automatic, the Escape 694 is an enjoyable and effortless motorhome to drive. The automatic gearbox makes longer journeys particularly relaxing, while the Fiat cab provides a comfortable driving environment with modern technology and excellent visibility.

Inside, the layout is all about making touring comfortable. The spacious front lounge provides plenty of room to relax during the day, with the Aguti travelling seats offering excellent support while on the move and then becoming part of the living area once you arrive.

The lounge is a lovely place to spend time, whether you're enjoying a morning coffee, sitting down for a meal or relaxing in the evening. The large panoramic sunroof above the cab also helps flood the interior with natural light, giving the Escape a wonderfully open and airy feel.

Moving towards the rear, the island bed is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the 694. Easily accessible from both sides, it provides a genuinely comfortable sleeping space and makes getting in and out of bed particularly easy. The rise-and-fall design also gives you the flexibility to adjust the bed height, creating additional storage space in the garage when required.

The rear garage is another major advantage of the 694. There's plenty of room for bikes, outdoor furniture, sporting equipment and all the other essentials you want to take with you, making this an excellent motorhome for active touring.

The kitchen is positioned centrally and is designed for genuine everyday use, with good workspace, storage and modern appliances. Whether you're preparing a quick breakfast before heading out or enjoying a relaxed meal back at the motorhome, everything is conveniently positioned.

Opposite, the beautifully designed washroom provides a comfortable and practical space with a contemporary, boutique-style finish. It makes excellent use of the available room without compromising the spacious feel of the rest of the motorhome.

Comfort is another area where the Escape really excels. Alde dual-fuel central heating provides even warmth throughout the vehicle, making the 694 a genuine year-round motorhome. With Swift's Grade 3 thermal insulation, it is designed to remain comfortable even when the temperatures drop.

The Escape 694 also benefits from Swift's SMART construction, using a timberless, moisture-resistant GRP bodyshell designed to provide strength, durability and excellent insulation. This gives the Escape the confidence-inspiring feel you want from a motorhome intended for years of touring.

There's also plenty of useful technology on board, including the Fiat cab's integrated entertainment system with reversing camera and sensors, USB connectivity and a range of thoughtful features designed to make travelling easier.

The result is a motorhome that feels genuinely special without being unnecessarily complicated. The 2026 Swift Escape 694 gives you a proper island bed, a generous garage, a comfortable lounge and excellent year-round heating, all wrapped up in a beautifully finished Swift interior.

Whether you're planning weekends away in the UK, extended European touring or simply want the freedom to escape whenever the opportunity arises, the Escape 694 is a wonderfully capable companion.

As with all our new Swift motorhomes at Abacus Motorhomes, we'll make sure you're completely comfortable with your new Escape before you leave us. We'll take you through all the systems and features during handover, and our team is always here to offer advice and support throughout your ownership.

If you're looking for a stylish, comfortable and incredibly practical motorhome with an island bed and large rear garage, the 2026 Swift Escape 694 is certainly worth a closer look.
