What is the difference between VB-FullAir different from VB-SemiAir systems?
VB-FullAir completely replaces your motorhome's original steel suspension with a full air suspension system, allowing the vehicle to ride entirely on air. In contrast, VB-SemiAir works alongside the existing steel suspension by adding air springs to provide extra support. While VB-SemiAir improves ride comfort, stability and load support, VB-FullAir delivers the highest level of comfort, automatic ride height adjustment, enhanced handling and advanced features such as automatic levelling.
Does VB-FullAir automatically level the vehicle?
VB-FullAir automatically maintains the correct ride height while driving, adjusting the suspension as conditions change to deliver optimum comfort, stability and handling. With the optional AutoLevel system, your motorhome can also be levelled at the touch of a button when parked, making it ideal for campsites and overnight stays.
What is Ferry Mode and Off-Road Mode?
VB-FullAir includes selectable drive modes to help you tackle different conditions with confidence. Ferry Mode adjusts the suspension to improve the vehicle's approach and departure angles when boarding ferries, navigating ramps or accessing steep driveways. Off-Road Mode temporarily raises the vehicle by approximately 30mm (speed restricted) to provide additional ground clearance on uneven or rough terrain.
Will FullAir Suspension improve the braking and stability on my motorhome?
Yes. VB-FullAir improves driving stability by maintaining the correct ride height and helping to distribute weight more evenly across the axles. This reduces body roll, enhances braking stability, improves resistance to crosswinds, and delivers a smoother, more controlled driving experience.
Is VB-FullAir suitable for fulltime motorhome use?
Absolutely. VB-FullAir is especially well suited to frequent, long-distance, or extended touring, providing maximum comfort, stability and adaptability across a wide range of driving conditions.
What is the difference between VB-Essentials and VB-Active adaptive shock absorbers?
The VB-Essentials Pack provides improved ride comfort and load support, while the VB-Comfort & Handling Pack adds VB-Active adaptive shock absorbers for a more advanced level of performance. These adaptive dampers continuously adjust to changing road conditions in real time, delivering smoother ride quality, reduced vibration, and enhanced stability—particularly on uneven roads and during long-distance touring.
